Privacy Policy

datasite (operated by DeBlasio New Media Marketing) · Effective July 28, 2026 · Terms of Service

This Privacy Policy describes how DeBlasio New Media Marketing (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use datasite (the “Service”), including when you sign in with Google or when authorized staff connect a Google account on behalf of a client company.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by DeBlasio New Media Marketing for invited clients and staff. Our public website is deblasiomarketing.com. For privacy questions or data requests, contact your DeBlasio New Media account manager or use the contact options on that site.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account and profile information

  • Name, email address, username, and password (if you create a password-based account).
  • Organization membership, role (for example owner or member), and invitation status.
  • If you choose Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft, we receive basic profile information from that provider (such as your email address and display name) as permitted by the scopes you approve on the provider’s consent screen.

2.2 Google user data (staff integrations)

When an authorized staff user connects Google for a client company, we access Google user data only as described below and only to provide the Service’s reporting features to that company’s members.

Google account information we may collect or receive:

  • The connected Google account’s email address (to show which account is linked).
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Google (stored securely on our servers; not shown to client members).

Google Analytics (GA4) data we may access (read-only):

  • Property and stream metadata (for example property ID, display name, measurement ID).
  • Aggregated analytics metrics and dimensions (for example sessions, users, page views, channels, devices, countries, pages, events) for dashboards configured in the Service.

Google Search Console data we may access (read-only):

  • Verified site URLs associated with the connected account.
  • Search performance metrics (for example clicks, impressions, queries, pages, countries, devices) for dashboards in the Service.

Google Ads data we may access (when enabled):

  • Customer account identifiers and campaign performance metrics configured for reporting in the Service.

We do not use Google user data to build advertising profiles, train general-purpose AI models, or create databases unrelated to providing the Service.

2.3 Other operational data

  • Dashboard layout preferences and widget configuration stored for your organization.
  • Server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps, requested URLs) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Communications you send us (for example support requests).

3. How we use information

We use information, including Google user data, to:

  • Authenticate users and manage access to the Service.
  • Display analytics, Search Console, and Ads reporting dashboards to authorized members of a company.
  • Allow staff to configure, validate, and maintain Google integrations for client companies.
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service (for example fixing errors and monitoring abuse).
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features of the Service. We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, interest-based advertising, retargeting, creditworthiness, lending, or selling to data brokers or information resellers.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data.

We may share information only in these situations:

  • Within your company: Members of the same organization may see dashboards and reports derived from data connected for that organization.
  • Service providers: Hosting, email, SMS, or infrastructure vendors that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it and use it only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection consistent with this policy.

We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties for their independent advertising, marketing, or data-broker purposes.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

datasite’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In summary:

  • We access Google user data only to provide or improve the Service’s reporting and integration features.
  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use Google user data for ads unrelated to the Service’s core functionality.
  • Human access to Google user data is limited to staff who need it to operate the Service, support your account, comply with law, or with your explicit permission.

6. Data retention and deletion

  • Account information is retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
  • Google OAuth tokens and linked-account metadata for a company are retained until staff disconnects Google for that company or we delete the organization’s integration data.
  • Aggregated report data shown in dashboards is fetched from Google on demand or derived at display time; we do not maintain a separate long-term warehouse of raw Google Analytics exports unless required for a specific configured feature you use.
  • Server logs are kept for a limited period appropriate for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated.

You may request deletion of your account or disconnection of Google integrations by contacting your DeBlasio New Media account manager. Staff can use Disconnect Google on the company integrations page to revoke our access to Google data for that company going forward (existing tokens are removed from our systems when disconnected).

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for browser and API traffic.
  • Access controls limiting staff and member permissions by role and organization.
  • Secure storage of OAuth refresh tokens and secrets on our servers (not exposed in the client UI).
  • Monitoring and patching of infrastructure used to host the Service.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

  • You may decline optional Google permissions, though some features will not work without them.
  • You may revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time via Google Account permissions and by disconnecting in the Service.
  • You may use email/password login instead of social sign-in when available.

9. Children

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date above. If we materially change how we use Google user data, we will provide additional notice as required (for example in the Service or by email to account owners).

12. Contact
